0

Event Details

  • Start: 30 June 2013 3:00pm
  • Venue: The Governor's House in Hyde Park

High Tea? Low Tea? Milk first or last? And what about that little finger?  The mysteries of afternoon tea and tea etiquette are solved while you enjoy a full English afternoon tea with tea sandwiches, little sweets, and warm scones with clotted cream and jam. A formal tea party can be intimidating, but after a pleasant afternoon of instruction, you will surely be confident enough to enjoy having tea anywhere. You’ll learn the fascinating history of tea, the secrets of brewing a perfect cup, and you’ll be ready to host a very proper tea party yourself. Advance reservation required. $25.00.
