Afternoon tea in our Vermont tea room is "the most proper tea this side of
the Atlantic" according to Having Tea in New England.
THE TEA MENU
The cream tea for $9.50 per person consists of warm freshly-made scones served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. With the full English afternoon tea for $19.75 per person, there are scones, cream and jam as well as several varieties of tea sandwiches and fancy pastries often including millionaire's shortbread. A selection of tea sandwiches is $10.50. Each choice comes with endless pots of freshly-made imported house-blend tea and you are, of course, welcome to spend as long as you like enjoying it. Just a pot of tea with a little something on the side is $5.50 per person. At least two hours notice is usually required for reservations for cream tea and twenty-four hours notice is usually required for the full tea to accommodate the baking.
PRIVATE PARTIES
We arel happy to accommodate anything from tea for one or two to a large birthday celebration, cozy bridal shower, or reception.
 Instructional teas which demonstrate the
gracious art of pouring and enjoying a
tea party are tailored to all ages.
