Tango in the Meadow: the Tango Trapp returns for another year! On Friday evening, July 21st, the “I Tango” performance by world-class Argentine Tango dancers accompanied by the Argentine “Color Tango Orchestra” in the Trapp Family Lodge Concert Meadow beginning at 8:30pm – Admission is $25 per person. Immediately following the performance at 10:00 pm there will be a Milonga (Tango dance party) at the Rusty Nail Nightclub in Stowe – admission $20. Saturday, July 22nd will be the USA Tango Championships at the Rusty Nail Nightclub – Salon and Stage Tango will be the categories and the finalist from each will go to Buenos Aires for the World Championship Tango Competition. There will be Tango Classes & Workshops all day on Saturday. Saturday night will feature the finals in the Tango Competition followed by a Milonga at 10:00 pm until 2:00 am at the Rusty Nail Nightclub - admission $35.
